Childcare co-ops

Childcare/ Preschool Co-ops

Parents form child care and preschool co-operatives when they want to have some control over and involvement in their children's care and education. This web site explores these co-operatives by looking at what they arehow they start, the benefits of membership to parents, child care workers, and students, the workings of child care co-operative councils, and the situation of child care co-ops in British Columbia, Canada, and around the world. It also has an extensive bibliography with links to individual co-operatives and general information.
