FOUR DAYS OF LEARNING AND CELEBRATION!
 

Bring It Home with 500 other community practitioners, civil society representatives, academics, government partners, and citizens from all across Canada in vibrant St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador!
 

Highlights

 

  • Over 40 workshop sessions will explore current issues and best practices in Youth CED, Aboriginal CED, Women & CED, Technology & CED, Policy, Research, and much more!
  • Engaging plenary sessions including keynote speaker Rankin MacSween <http://www.newdawn.ca/index1.html> ,  a key founding member of CED in Atlantic Canada; showcase of outstanding  community initiatives; action planning; and policy discussions.  
  • Pre-conference events, including an Immigrant and Refugee CED Action Forum, Canadian CED Network AGM, and three exciting site visits to choose from.
  • Celebratory networking and social activities and many opportunities to learn about the history and culture of Atlantic Canada.
  • It all takes place at the spectacular Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre, located in the heart of downtown St. John’s with a spectacular view of the St. John’s Narrows.


The 2007 National CED Conference is organized by the Canadian CED Network (CCEDNet) in partnership with Futures In Newfoundland And Labrador’s Youth (FINALY!).
