CoopZone On-line Training Program!

Update, as of May 2, 2012:  Specific information on the courses starting September 2012 will be posted soon.  Below is general information on the CoopZone training courses. 

The CoopZone Developers' Network Co-operative is pleased to announce that it is now offering a two-level on-line training program on co-operative development beginning each September.  The first level, called the Foundations Program will last for one year (September - April).  The second level, or the Advanced Program, will last for two years.  Each level is designed to take a few hours per week.  For more information, please read the attached brochure, which provides a high-level summary of the program, and practical information about it (application deadline, tuition, etc.).  Funding to create the developer training curriculum has been provided by the Co-operative Development Initiative, Innovative Co-operative Projects program, and funding for bursaries has been provided by Vancity, Assiniboine and Affinity credit unions. CoopZone expresses its sincere appreciation for these important contributions! 

The longer documents, which follow the brochure, provide the outline and learning objectives in detail for each level of the training program. The applications for the Foundations program, the Advanced program (either year 1 or year 2) and the bursary application are also attached, below.  The application deadline for the first year was August 25, 2011.

The fees paid are eligible for tuition tax credits.
