The Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Co-operative Unions Ltd. (NEFSCUN)
The Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Co-operative Unions Ltd. (NEFSCUN) is the only national apex body of savings and credit co-operatives in Nepal, providing financial and non-financial services to its members based on co-operative principles and values. NEFSCUN covers 53 out of 75 districts in Nepal, with a membership of 104,424 individuals from 675 savings and credit cooperatives. The Project:
NEFSCUN and CCA seek a credit union management professional experienced in central finance facilities and inter-lending. 
 
Working with the Nepal Federation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Union Ltd (NEFSCUN's) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the volunteer will be responsible for assessing NEFSCUN's Central Finance Facility cum Inter-lending (CFFI) policy and programs, and providing recommendations for their improvement.

Your Role as CCA Volunteer:
Under the supervision of the Director of International Relations Division, the successful volunteer will implement the following activities:
Review the existing CFFI, including a performance and operational audit and policy review with ACCU Staff member;

Provide technical support to member organization of NEFSCUN on CFFI management;
Take advisory role in implementation of recommended changes and improvements;
Provide training (with manual) to NEFSCUN staff and credit union staff on the revised CFFI policy; and

Co-ordinate with different stakeholders as necessary.
The qualified volunteer will have practical hands-on experience and/or educational knowledge in:
Experience with credit unions, central finance facilities, and inter-lending;
Strong communication skills and sensitivity to the diplomatic aspects of international co-operation are considered essential;
Access to a laptop for use in Nepal is required;
Experience working with translators and interpreters an asset;
Facilitation experience an asset; and

International work experience is an asset.
