Economist by profession, Réjean began his career with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He then worked 15 years at the Conseil canadien de la coopération et de la mutualité. Over the past 4 years, he has served as Director General of the Federal Co-operative Housing Stabilization Fund. Since August 2009, he has been a consultant expert for Tango RJ Consultant. Highly involved in the co-operative movement, he is Director of the Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, President of the Federation of Funeral Cooperatives of Québec, Treasurer of the Conseil québécois de la cooperation et de la mutualité, Vice-President of the Groupe de ressources techniques en habitation Loge-Action Outaouais and Director of the Insurance Cooperative, The Co-operators.

Au cours des 4 dernières années, il a occupé le poste de Directeur général du Fonds de stabilisation fédéral des coopératives d’habitation. Depuis août 2009, il est consultant expert au sein de Tango RJ Consultant. Très impliqué dans le mouvement coopératif, il est administrateur de la Coopérative funéraire de l’Outaouais, président de la Fédération des coopératives funéraires du Québec, trésorier du Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité, vice-président du Groupe de ressources techniques en habitation Loge-Action Outaouais et administrateur de la coopérative d’assurance Co-operators.
Catherine Lang has worked in management and consulting with social economy organizations for over 25 years. She held the position of Regional Manager of the Canadian Co-operative Association in Ontario and created and directed many of their programs in co-op developmnet, youth and public education. Through C. Lang Consulting, Catherine balances her grassroots community work with research and knowledge creation at the national and regional level.
Recent co-op development experience includes the development of two arts-based co-operatives — a workers co-operative of storytellers and a textile artists studio co-operative –as well as organizational development, research and fundraising with social co-operatives providing services with and for persons with disabilities in Ontario. Catherine also facilitates networks and workshops for non-profits seeking to create social purpose enterprises.
With a passion for connecting people and unleashing the power of collaboration, Catherine seeks to inspire and support innovation and innovators in rural, community and co-operative economic development. In 2006 she co-authored Innovation Pathways: Tools for Rural and Northern Community Innovation. Catherine holds a Masters degree in Adult Education as well as a BA in Sociology and Philosophy and a Bachelor of Social Work.
